West Midlands police have released statistics from a website which encourages the public to rate the service provided by their local force.

The site gives people the chance to give anonymous feedback
The website - rateyourlocalpolice.co.uk - was set up in 2010 by the West Midlands Police Authority to give the public the chance to give feedback on the police performance.
So far, 760 members of the public have used the service, with a mixed response being returned.
According to police figures, 376 of the responses said the service they received from the police was 'good' or 'very good', while 380 described it as 'poor' or 'very poor'. 53 people said the service was 'average'.
Assistant Chief Constable Garry Forsyth is eager for more people to use the service, for the good of the force in the future.
"This site gives members of the public the chance to air their views about the quality of service they have received, which is fed back to the organisation to help improve our service in all areas of business," he says.
"The feedback we've received is a good way of monitoring our customer service and I hope by being open and transparent in this way we can really help improve the way we do business in the future."
