Remember remember, the 5th of November. But where can you go for a memorable fireworks display this year?
There are plenty of firework display options in and around Sutton this year
There are plenty of options in and around Sutton.
Getting the ball rolling on Friday, November 4 is Sutton Rugby Club, on Walmley Road, while the following evening - bonfire night itself - Four Oaks Saints CC are also hosting a display.
On the same night - November 5 - Birmingham City Council's flagship event will take place at Pype Hayes Park in Erdington.
Although the 'bonfire night' event will actually be missing a bonfire - due to cost cutting reasons - it still promises to be one of the most spectacular displays in the area. Admission is free and the fireworks will commence at 7.30pm.
For those willing to travel a little further, Tamworth Castle, Drayton Manor and Veseyans Rugby Club, in Streetly, are all hosting displays.
The rugby club - based on Little Hardwick Road, WS9 0SQ - will hold it's display on November 4, with fireworks starting at 7.30pm.
At the event will be a bouncy castle, other children's fun and games and a barbeque and bar. Tickets cost £5 per person, with a family ticket available for £15.
Drayton Manor's Laser and Firework shows take place this weekend (October 29 and 30) to mark the end of the theme park's season. Ticket information can be found at www.draytonmanor.co.uk.
Tamworth Castle's November 5 display will have an atmospheric feel to it, with 17th century characters mingling with the crowds. Gates open at 5.30pm, with admission costing £4.50 for adults and £2.50 for children.
